Hello and welcome to Beads on Toast!
My name is Anna and i have been making my own jewellery for just over 3 years now.
I started studying Art and Design at High School
and went on to achieve a First class degree in
Graphic Design. It was during my degree i was
introduced to glass and metalwork as a module
and I fell in love with the "hands on" approach
instantly.
I have always had a fascination with jewellery and
anything sparkling, especially crystals, gems and
sequins!
I have been creating Lampwork beads since
October 2005 and love to work with glass. Thanks to Martin at the Harrogate Bead Fair, i bought my starter hot head kit and i haven't looked back. All the
lampwork beads you find on this site have been
hand crafted and kiln annealed for strength,
durability and safety.
I personally design beautiful, sparkly and unique
glass beads and jewellery items including charm bracelets, earrings, wrap bangles,
necklaces and many other accessories using
materials which are found all over the globe.
All the items you will see on this site have been
individually hand crafted by myself in my studio in
West Yorkshire using sterling silver clasps and
findings, Swarovski Crystals, semi precious gems and
stones, shells and charms.
